1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the MasnoonDua.com website. The Masnoon Duain Android app is a separate product and may use advertising or third-party services with different data practices. App-specific disclosures are available through its Google Play listing.

2. Information you provide

The website currently does not require an account, payment, profile, or contact form. If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and information you choose to include so we can respond to your request.

3. Favourites and browser storage

When you mark a dua as a favourite, the website stores the selected dua identifiers in your browser's local storage. This information remains on your device and is not intentionally transmitted to MasnoonDua.com. You can remove it by clearing website data in your browser.

4. Technical logs

Like most websites, our hosting or security provider may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error logs. This information may be used to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

MasnoonDua.com uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page usage, devices, approximate location, referral sources, and website interactions. For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded unless “Accept analytics” is selected in the privacy banner. In other regions, Analytics may load by default. Any visitor can turn it off through “Privacy choices” in the footer; after rejection, the tag remains off on later visits and Analytics cookies are removed where possible.

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so it can be respected on later pages. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain disabled because the website does not currently use Google advertising tags. Google may process Analytics data under its Privacy Policy.

6. External links and Google Play

The website links to external services, including Google Play. When you follow an external link, that service may collect information under its own privacy policy. MasnoonDua.com is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, applications, advertising providers, or app-store services.

7. Data retention and choices

• Browser favourites remain until you clear local storage or remove them.
• Your analytics consent choice remains in local storage until you change it through “Privacy choices” in the footer or clear website data.
• Email correspondence may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, or prevent abuse.
• Hosting and security logs are retained according to the relevant provider's operational settings.

8. Children's privacy

The website provides general Islamic reading content and does not knowingly request personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of external links and applications.

9. Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect the website, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Avoid sending sensitive personal information by email.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when website features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when a material update is published.
