سورۃ الملک (تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِيْ) قرآنِ کریم کی ۶۷ویں سورت ہے جو ۲۹ویں پارے کے آغاز میں ہے اور اس کی کل ۳۰ آیات ہیں۔ صحیح اور حسن احادیث (جامع ترمذی ۲۸۹۱، سنن ابی داؤد ۱۴۰۰) سے ثابت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ہر رات سونے سے پہلے سورۃ الملک کی تلاوت فرماتے تھے اور آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ یہ تیس آیات والی سورت اپنے پڑھنے والے کی اس وقت تک شفاعت کرتی ہے جب تک اسے بخش نہ دیا جائے اور یہ قبر کے عذاب سے بچانے والی (المانعہ) ہے۔ ذیل میں مکمل ۳۰ آیات ۶ آسان حصوں میں اردو ترجمہ، رومن اردو اور مکمل آڈیو تلاوت کے ساتھ دی گئی ہیں۔
Authentic Hadith Proof: Why Recite Surah Al-Mulk Every Night?
سورۃ الملک کی فضیلت پر مستند احادیثِ مبارکہ1) Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "A Surah from the Quran containing thirty verses interceded for a man until he was forgiven. It is: Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion (Surah Al-Mulk)" (Jami at-Tirmidhi 2891, Sunan Abu Dawud 1400 — Graded Hasan by Tirmidhi & Albani). 2) Jabir (RA) reported that the Prophet ﷺ would not sleep until he recited Alif Lam Mim Tanzil (As-Sajdah) and Tabarakallazi biyadihil-Mulk (Jami at-Tirmidhi 2892 — Sahih). 3) Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA) said: "Whoever reads Tabarakallazi biyadihil-Mulk every night, Allah will protect him by it from the punishment of the grave" (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Al-Kubra 10479 — Hasan).
۱) حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "قرآن میں تیس آیات والی ایک سورت نے ایک شخص کی شفاعت کی یہاں تک کہ اس کی مغفرت ہو گئی، اور وہ سورت تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِيْ بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ ہے" (ترمذی ۲۸۹۱، ابوداؤد ۱۴۰۰ — حسن)۔ ۲) حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ اس وقت تک نہیں سوتے تھے جب تک سورۃ السجدہ اور سورۃ الملک نہ پڑھ لیتے (ترمذی ۲۸۹۲ — صحیح)۔ ۳) حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: "جو شخص ہر رات تبارک الذی بیدہ الملک پڑھتا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے ذریعے اسے قبر کے عذاب سے محفوظ رکھے گا" (نسائی الکبریٰ ۱۰۴۷۹ — حسن)۔

سورۃ الملک (آیات ۱ تا ۵) — اللہ کی بادشاہی، موت و حیات کی حکمت اور سات آسمان✨ تلاوت اور فضیلت: پہلی ۵ آیات میں واضح کیا گیا کہ زندگی کا مقصد اعمال کی کثرت نہیں بلکہ اعمال کا بہترین (سنت کے مطابق اور اخلاص والا) ہونا ہے: "اَيُّكُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا"۔
تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِيْ بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيٰوةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ اَيُّكُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْغَفُوْرُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ طِبَاقًا مَا تَرٰى فِيْ خَلْقِ الرَّحْمٰنِ مِنْ تَفٰوُتٍ فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرٰى مِنْ فُطُوْرٍ ثُمَّ ارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنْقَلِبْ اِلَيْكَ الْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَّهُوَ حَسِيْرٌ وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَآءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيْحَ وَجَعَلْنٰهَا رُجُوْمًا لِّلشَّيٰطِيْنِ وَاَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيْرِ
Tilawat • Quran 67:1–5 (5 Ayahs)

Roman Urdu / Transliteration: Tabaarakal-lazee biyadihil-mulku wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer. Allazee khalaqal-mawta wal-hayaata liyabluwakum ayyukum ahsanu 'amalaa; wa Huwal-'Azeezul-Ghafoor. Allazee khalaqa sab'a samaawaatin tibaaqaa; maa taraa fee khalqir-Rahmaani min tafaawutin farji'il-basara hal taraa min futoor. Summar-ji'il-basara karratayni yanqalib ilaykal-basaru khaasi'aw-wa huwa haseer. Wa laqad zayyannas-samaaa'ad-dunyaa bimasaabeeha wa ja'alnaahaa rujoomal-lish-shayaateeni wa a'tadnaa lahum 'azaabas-sa'eer.
اردو ترجمہ: بڑی برکت والا ہے وہ (اللہ) جس کے ہاتھ میں بادشاہی ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ جس نے موت اور زندگی کو پیدا کیا تاکہ تمہیں آزمائے کہ تم میں سے کون عمل کے لحاظ سے بہتر ہے، اور وہ غالب، بخشنے والا ہے۔ جس نے تہہ بہ تہہ سات آسمان بنائے، تم رحمٰن کی تخلیق میں کوئی بے ربطی نہیں دیکھو گے، ذرا نگاہ پھیر کر دیکھو کیا تمہیں کوئی شگاف نظر آتا ہے؟ پھر دوبارہ نگاہ دوڑاؤ، نگاہ تمہاری طرف تھک کر اور عاجز ہو کر لوٹ آئے گی۔ اور بے شک ہم نے دنیا کے آسمان کو چراغوں (ستاروں) سے آراستہ کیا اور انہیں شیطانوں کو مار بھگانے کا ذریعہ بنایا اور ہم نے ان کے لیے بھڑکتی آگ کا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے۔
English Meaning: Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent—[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed—and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving—[He] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision to the sky, do you see any breaks? Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued. And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.

سورۃ الملک (آیات ۶ تا ۱۰) — جہنم کی ہولناکی اور منکرین کی حسرت✨ تلاوت اور فضیلت: آیت ۱۰ ("لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ اَوْ نَعْقِلُ") بتاتی ہے کہ ہدایت کے دو بڑے دروازے ہیں: حق بات کو توجہ سے سننا اور عقل سے غور و فکر کرنا۔
وَلِلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ اِذَآ اُلْقُوْا فِيْهَا سَمِعُوْا لَهَا شَهِيْقًا وَّهِىَ تَفُوْرُ تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ كُلَّمَآ اُلْقِىَ فِيْهَا فَوْجٌ سَاَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ اَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيْرٌ قَالُوْا بَلٰى قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيْرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا فِيْ ضَلٰلٍ كَبِيْرٍ وَقَالُوْا لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ اَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِيْٓ اَصْحٰبِ السَّعِيْرِ

Roman Urdu / Transliteration: Wa lillazeena kafaroo bi-Rabbihim 'azaabu Jahannama wa bi'sal-maseer. Izaaa ulqoo feehaa sami'oo lahaa shaheeqaw-wa hiya tafoor. Takaadu tamayyazu minal-ghayzi kullamaaa ulqiya feehaa fawjun sa-alahum khazanatuhaaa alam ya'tikum nazeer. Qaaloo balaa qad jaaa'anaa nazeerun fakazzabnaa wa qulnaa maa nazzalal-laahu min shay'in in antum illaa fee dalaalin kabeer. Wa qaaloo law kunnaa nasma'u aw na'qilu maa kunnaa feee ashaabis-sa'eer.
اردو ترجمہ: اور جن لوگوں نے اپنے رب کا انکار کیا ان کے لیے جہنم کا عذاب ہے اور وہ بہت برا ٹھکانا ہے۔ جب وہ اس میں ڈالے جائیں گے تو اس کی خوفناک دھاڑ سنیں گے اور وہ جوش مار رہی ہوگی۔ قریب ہوگا کہ وہ غصے کی شدت سے پھٹ پڑے، جب کبھی اس میں کوئی گروہ ڈالا جائے گا تو اس کے داروغے ان سے پوچھیں گے: کیا تمہارے پاس کوئی ڈرانے والا (رسول) نہیں آیا تھا؟ وہ کہیں گے: کیوں نہیں! بے شک ہمارے پاس ڈرانے والا آیا تھا، مگر ہم نے اسے جھٹلا دیا اور کہا کہ اللہ نے کچھ بھی نازل نہیں کیا، تم تو بس بڑی گمراہی میں پڑے ہو۔ اور وہ کہیں گے: کاش ہم سنتے یا عقل سے کام لیتے تو ہم دوزخ والوں میں نہ ہوتے۔
English Meaning: And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination. When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up. It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?" They will say, "Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'" And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."

Surah Al-Mulk Verses 11–15 — Forgiveness for Those Who Fear Allah Unseen
سورۃ الملک (آیات ۱۱ تا ۱۵) — بن دیکھے رب سے ڈرنے والوں کی مغفرت اور زمین میں رزق کی تلاش✨ تلاوت اور فضیلت: آیت ۱۵ ("فَامْشُوْا فِيْ مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوْا مِنْ رِّزْقِهٖ") میں حلال روزگار کے لیے محنت کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ یہ یاد دہانی ہے کہ حقیقی رازق اللہ ہی ہے۔
فَاعْتَرَفُوْا بِذَنْبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِّاَصْحٰبِ السَّعِيْرِ اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّاَجْرٌ كَبِيْرٌ وَاَسِرُّوْا قَوْلَكُمْ اَوِ اجْهَرُوْا بِهٖ اِنَّهٗ عَلِيْمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ اَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيْفُ الْخَبِيْرُ هُوَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ ذَلُوْلًا فَامْشُوْا فِيْ مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوْا مِنْ رِّزْقِهٖ وَاِلَيْهِ النُّشُوْرُ

Roman Urdu / Transliteration: Fa'tarafoo bizambihim fasuhqal-li-ashaabis-sa'eer. Innal-lazeena yakhshawna Rabbahum bil-ghaybi lahum maghfiratuw-wa ajrun kabeer. Wa asirroo qawlakum awijharoo bihee innahoo 'Aleemum-bizaatis-sudoor. Alaa ya'lamu man khalaqa wa Huwal-Lateeful-Khabeer. Huwal-lazee ja'ala lakumul-arda zaloolan famshoo fee manaakibihaa wa kuloo mir-rizqihee wa ilayhin-nushoor.
اردو ترجمہ: پس وہ اپنے گناہ کا اعتراف کر لیں گے، سو دوزخ والوں کے لیے دوری اور ہلاکت ہو۔ بے شک جو لوگ بن دیکھے اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہیں ان کے لیے بخشش اور بڑا اجر ہے۔ اور تم اپنی بات چھپاؤ یا ظاہر کرو، بے شک وہ سینوں کے بھیدوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہے۔ بھلا جس نے پیدا کیا ہے کیا وہی نہیں جانے گا؟ حالانکہ وہ ہر باریکی کو جاننے والا، باخبر ہے۔ وہی تو ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے زمین کو تابع (نرم و ہموار) بنا دیا، سو تم اس کے راستوں میں چلو پھرو اور اس کے رزق میں سے کھاؤ، اور اسی کی طرف دوبارہ اٹھ کر جانا ہے۔
English Meaning: And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze. Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward. And conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted? It is He who made the earth tame for you—so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision—and to Him is the resurrection.

Surah Al-Mulk Verses 16–20 — Who Holds the Birds in Mid-Air?
سورۃ الملک (آیات ۱۶ تا ۲۰) — فضا میں اڑتے پرندوں کو تھامنے والا رحمٰن✨ تلاوت اور فضیلت: آیت ۱۹ میں پرندوں کی پرواز کا ذکر کر کے اللہ کی صفت "الرَّحْمٰنُ" یاد دلائی گئی ہے کہ پوری کائنات کا توازن اسی کی رحمت سے قائم ہے۔
ءَاَمِنْتُمْ مَّنْ فِي السَّمَآءِ اَنْ يَّخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْاَرْضَ فَاِذَا هِىَ تَمُوْرُ اَمْ اَمِنْتُمْ مَّنْ فِي السَّمَآءِ اَنْ يُّرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا فَسَتَعْلَمُوْنَ كَيْفَ نَذِيْرِ وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيْرِ اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اِلَى الطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صٰٓفّٰتٍ وَّيَقْبِضْنَ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ اِلَّا الرَّحْمٰنُ اِنَّهٗ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بَصِيْرٌ اَمَّنْ هٰذَا الَّذِيْ هُوَ جُنْدٌ لَّكُمْ يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ الرَّحْمٰنِ اِنِ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ اِلَّا فِيْ غُرُوْرٍ

Roman Urdu / Transliteration: A-amintum man fis-samaaa'i ay-yakhsifa bikumul-arda fa-izaa hiya tamoor. Am amintum man fis-samaaa'i ay-yursila 'alaykum haasiban fasata'lamoona kayfa nazeer. Wa laqad kazzabal-lazeena min qablihim fakayfa kaana nakeer. Awalam yaraw ilat-tayri fawqahum saaaffaatiw-wa yaqbidn; maa yumsikuhunna illar-Rahmaan; innahoo bikulli shay'im-Baseer. Amman haazal-lazee huwa jundul-lakum yansurukum min doonir-Rahmaan; inil-kaafiroona illaa fee ghuroor.
اردو ترجمہ: کیا تم اس ذات سے بے خوف ہو گئے ہو جو آسمان میں (عرش پر بلند) ہے کہ وہ تمہیں زمین میں دھنسا دے جب کہ وہ یکایک لرزنے لگے؟ یا تم اس سے بے خوف ہو گئے ہو جو آسمان میں ہے کہ وہ تم پر پتھروں کی آندھی بھیج دے؟ پس تمہیں جلد معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ میرا ڈرانا کیسا تھا۔ اور بے شک ان سے پہلے لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا تو دیکھو میری پکڑ کیسی ہوئی۔ کیا انہوں نے اپنے اوپر اڑتے ہوئے پرندوں کو نہیں دیکھا جو پر پھیلائے رہتے ہیں اور سکیڑ لیتے ہیں؟ انہیں رحمٰن کے سوا کوئی تھامے ہوئے نہیں ہے، بے شک وہ ہر چیز کو خوب دیکھنے والا ہے۔ بھلا وہ کون ہے جو تمہارا لشکر بن کر رحمٰن کے مقابلے میں تمہاری مدد کر سکے؟ کافر تو محض دھوکے میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں۔
English Meaning: Do you feel secure that He who is above the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway? Or do you feel secure that He who is above the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning. And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach. Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing. Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion.

سورۃ الملک (آیات ۲۱ تا ۲۵) — حقیقی رازق کون ہے اور کان، آنکھ اور دل کی نعمت✨ تلاوت اور فضیلت: آیت ۲۳ ہمیں یاد دلاتی ہے کہ سماعت، بصارت اور سوچنے سمجھنے والا دل اللہ کی عظیم نعمتیں ہیں جن کا شکر لازم ہے۔
اَمَّنْ هٰذَا الَّذِيْ يَرْزُقُكُمْ اِنْ اَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهٗ بَلْ لَّجُّوْا فِيْ عُتُوٍّ وَّنُفُوْرٍ اَفَمَنْ يَّمْشِيْ مُكِبًّا عَلٰى وَجْهِهٖٓ اَهْدٰٓى اَمَّنْ يَّمْشِيْ سَوِيًّا عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْشَاَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْاَبْصَارَ وَالْاَفْـِٕدَةَ قَلِيْلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُوْنَ قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِيْ ذَرَاَكُمْ فِي الْاَرْضِ وَاِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتٰى هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ

Roman Urdu / Transliteration: Amman haazal-lazee yarzuqukum in amsaka rizqahoo bal-lajjoo fee 'utuwwiw-wa nufoor. Afamay-yamshee mukibban 'alaa wajhiheee ahdaaa ammay-yamshee sawiyyan 'alaa Siraatim-Mustaqeem. Qul Huwal-lazeee ansha-akum wa ja'ala lakumus-sam'a wal-absaara wal-af'idata qaleelam-maa tashkuroon. Qul Huwal-lazee zara-akum fil-ardi wa ilayhi tuhsharoon. Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal-wa'du in kuntum saadiqeen.
اردو ترجمہ: بھلا وہ کون ہے جو تمہیں رزق دے سکے اگر وہ (اللہ) اپنا رزق روک لے؟ بلکہ وہ سرکشی اور حق سے نفرت پر اڑے ہوئے ہیں۔ بھلا جو شخص اپنے منہ کے بل اوندھا چلتا ہو وہ زیادہ راہِ راست پر ہے یا وہ جو سیدھے راستے پر سیدھا ہو کر چلتا ہو؟ فرما دیجئے: وہی تو ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا اور تمہارے لیے کان، آنکھیں اور دل بنائے، تم بہت ہی کم شکر ادا کرتے ہو۔ فرما دیجئے: وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں زمین میں پھیلایا اور اسی کی طرف تم سب جمع کیے جاؤ گے۔ اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ وعدہ (قیامت) کب پورا ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو؟
English Meaning: Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion. Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path? Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered." And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"

سورۃ الملک کی آخری آیات (۲۶ تا ۳۰) — رحمٰن پر توکل اور بہتے پانی کی نعمت✨ تلاوت اور فضیلت: سورۃ الملک کے اختتام پر مستحب ہے کہ انسان دل سے کہے: "اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ" (پانی لانے والا صرف رب العالمین ہے)۔
قُلْ اِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَاِنَّمَآ اَنَا نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيْٓـَٔتْ وُجُوْهُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَقِيْلَ هٰذَا الَّذِيْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تَدَّعُوْنَ قُلْ اَرَءَيْتُمْ اِنْ اَهْلَكَنِيَ اللّٰهُ وَمَنْ مَّعِيَ اَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَنْ يُّجِيْرُ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍ قُلْ هُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ اٰمَنَّا بِهٖ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا فَسَتَعْلَمُوْنَ مَنْ هُوَ فِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ قُلْ اَرَءَيْتُمْ اِنْ اَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَنْ يَّأْتِيْكُمْ بِمَآءٍ مَّعِيْنٍ

Roman Urdu / Transliteration: Qul innamal-'ilmu 'indal-laahi wa innamaaa ana nazeerum-mubeen. Falammaa ra-awhu zulfatan seee'at wujoohul-lazeena kafaroo wa qeela haazal-lazee kuntum bihee tadda'oon. Qul ara'aytum in ahlakaniyal-laahu wa mam-ma'iya aw rahimanaa famay-yujeerul-kaafireena min 'azaabin aleem. Qul Huwar-Rahmaanu aamannaa bihee wa 'alayhi tawakkalnaa; fasata'lamoona man huwa fee dalaalim-mubeen. Qul ara'aytum in asbaha maaa'ukum ghawran famay-ya'teekum bimaaa'im-ma'een.
اردو ترجمہ: فرما دیجئے: (قیامت کا) علم تو صرف اللہ ہی کے پاس ہے اور میں تو صرف صاف صاف خبردار کرنے والا ہوں۔ پھر جب وہ اس (عذاب) کو قریب دیکھ لیں گے تو کافروں کے چہرے بگڑ جائیں گے اور کہا جائے گا: یہی ہے وہ چیز جسے تم جلدی مانگا کرتے تھے۔ فرما دیجئے: بھلا دیکھو تو اگر اللہ مجھے اور میرے ساتھیوں کو ہلاک کر دے یا ہم پر رحم فرمائے، تو کافروں کو دردناک عذاب سے کون بچائے گا؟ فرما دیجئے: وہی رحمٰن ہے، ہم اسی پر ایمان لائے اور اسی پر ہم نے بھروسہ (توکل) کیا، سو تمہیں جلد معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ کون کھلی گمراہی میں ہے۔ فرما دیجئے: بھلا دیکھو تو اگر تمہارا پانی زمین میں گہرا اتر جائے تو کون ہے جو تمہارے لیے صاف بہتا ہوا پانی لائے گا؟
English Meaning: Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner." But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call." Say, "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?" Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in manifest error." Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"
