اسلام میں وراثت (علم الفرائض / میراث) کی تقسیم کسی انسان کی صوابدید پر نہیں چھوڑی گئی بلکہ اللہ رب العزت نے خود سورۃ النساء (آیات 11، 12 اور 176) میں ایک ایک وارث کا ریاضیاتی حصہ (1/2، 1/4، 1/8، 2/3، 1/3، 1/6 اور بیٹے بیٹی کا ۲:۱ تناسب) مقرر فرما کر اسے "فَرِيْضَةً مِّنَ اللّٰهِ" اور "تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّٰهِ" قرار دیا ہے، اور تنبیہ فرمائی ہے کہ جو شخص اللہ کی ان حدود کو توڑے گا اور وارثوں (خصوصاً بیٹیوں، بہنوں، ماؤں اور بیواؤں) کو ان کے شرعی حق سے محروم کرے گا اللہ اسے آگ میں داخل کرے گا (النساء 14)۔ اوپر دیے گئے وراثت کیلکولیٹر سے ترکہ کی شرعی تقسیم فوری معلوم کریں۔

سورۃ النساء (4:11–12) میں بیان کردہ بنیادی ورثاء کے مقررہ شرعی حصے(1) Husband: 1/2 (50%) if wife leaves no children; 1/4 (25%) if she leaves children. (2) Wife: 1/4 (25%) if husband leaves no children; 1/8 (12.5%) if he leaves children. (3) Mother: 1/6 (16.67%) if deceased has children or 2+ siblings; 1/3 (33.33%) otherwise. (4) Father: 1/6 (16.67%) when deceased leaves a son; 1/6 + residue when deceased leaves only daughters; full residue (Asabah) when no children exist. (5) Daughters & Sons: 1 Daughter alone = 1/2 (50%); 2+ Daughters with no son = 2/3 (66.67%); Sons + Daughters together share the residue in a 2:1 ratio.
(۱) شوہر: اولاد نہ ہو تو آدھا (1/2 = 50%)، اولاد ہو تو چوتھا حصہ (1/4 = 25%)۔ (۲) بیوی: اولاد نہ ہو تو چوتھا حصہ (1/4 = 25%)، اولاد ہو تو آٹھواں حصہ (1/8 = 12.5%)۔ (۳) والدہ (ماں): اولاد یا دو سے زائد بہن بھائی ہوں تو چھٹا حصہ (1/6 = 16.67%)، ورنہ تہائی (1/3 = 33.33%)۔ (۴) والد (باپ): بیٹے کی موجودگی میں چھٹا حصہ (1/6)؛ صرف بیٹی ہو تو چھٹا حصہ مع بقیہ؛ اور کوئی اولاد نہ ہو تو کل بقیہ ترکہ بطورِ عصبہ۔ (۵) بیٹے اور بیٹیاں: اکیلی بیٹی کا آدھا (1/2)، دو یا زائد بیٹیوں (بغیر بیٹے کے) کا دو تہائی (2/3)، اور بیٹے و بیٹیاں مل کر بقیہ مال ۲:۱ کے تناسب سے تقسیم کرتے ہیں۔
